So she is finally complete... after about 50 days.
I donīt even want to think how much hours went into making her.
But for our pink chaos pony, it was worth it ;-)
Here you can get a good 3D like feel for the model: [link]

Here is the model of Luna I did: [link]

-------------------------------------------
She is about 103 cm high (to the top of the hair), that is 3 feet 4 inch.
It is made out of 42 pages of 300 g/m2 paper, the paper was 32x45 cm.
I modified a 3D model :iconkp-shadowsquirrel: made [link] so that I could make a papercraft out of it.
If you want to make your own, go on, do it.
Here are all the papers you need: [link]
"....." are valley folds
"-----" are mountain folds
and here is the .pdo file you can open with pepakura: [link]
If you need advice, just ask.

Do you have a version to download without lines?

This is soooo awesome! I had printed out a template before of the ponies based off the same 3d model but they had no textures so after making half of fluttershy's body, I gave up seeing as I had no way to paint it. But you just made like my entire year!!! Any chance on releasing templates without fully testing them first? I mean, Fluttershy, must have Fluttershy! And Rarity, and waiting 1 year+ for them would be painful D: Though of course quality > quantity and what not. I wouldn't mind test building though ;D

A "nude" Pinkie Pie without lines, you are lucky, someone else already asked and here it is:

About other models...
you know the process from going from a 3D model that is fine and good for SFM or ther animation or picture posing
to a 3D model that is ready for papercrafting takes alone 3-5 hours, there are a lot of steps and searching for every possible clipping in the model takes time.
I have however did a rarity model for someone who begged me and I would not do that again.
I have put not so much hours in it like I normally would, it looks fine to me, but I will not spend 2 more hours in it to make sure.
So, if you want to use it, here is the unfolded .pdo model [link] and here is a tutorial I made for that person on how to use "pepakura" to unfold it [link]
If you know how to use blender and want to seek for any faults left I can sent you the blender file.

I think you were talking about me with the rarity model. Never really understood, even of hours worth of research about blender. I eventually gave up and just going with minerug's really hard models. Although i dont remember begging, more like politely asking and apologizing when i didn't understand something :(

Well, your are right, maybe begging was the wrong word.
Blender has all the good tutorial right on there homepage if you still want to learn.
But the Blender work was practicly done so far, and Pepakura is real easy to use.
I guess I was just a little sad that I put the extra hours of work into it and nothing was made of it...
but that is not your fault, I canīt expect other to learn thing like I did on 3D programs.
Your rarity is looking great by the way.

I really wish I understood Blender. At one point I tried working with it and failed horribly. I understand completely about how long it takes to make a good model. I've seen people release papercrafts where all the pieces clipped and I wondered if they did anything beyond hit unfold and save.

Any chance you can make a lineless Luna? ;D

Since I see you have some experience with papercrafts, here is a "nude" Luna for you: [link]
you can use the same .pdo to check the connections.
You know how big you want to make her?

Just remember, my printouts had been very big: 32x45 cm (SRA3)
but if you can print at least at A3 size: 29,7 x 42 cm you are pretty close and you model will just be 10% smaller
