Finally Princess Luna is no longer alone.
Good thing is that I can use this technic for every 3d model I want.
I want to 3d scan my daughters in the near future, so I can do papercrafts of them,
it will be a great memory once they are older to see how the looked.
That is right, I did only use PU foam in Luna.
I use now "acrylic one" with glasfibres to harden connections,
but I think I did not do this in Pinkie yet...
I think I just used two additional inner layers of paper and glue for the parts I wanted to be harder, like the tail-body connection.
A artist who paints, can draw a picture for maybe 1-2 hours and get 20-30$ for it,
but if I would only say 3$ per hour, we would already be above 750$...
They stay here at home with me and my family as long I am not forced to sell them because we need space or money very desperate.
WHERE ARE THE EYELASHES!?
I want to try black wool.
I will mix glue with the wool and get it in eyelashes shape, as soon it is hard, I want to try to glue them on the model.
another idea I have for future models, is to use black pipe cleaners, that get stuck in the head and are fixed on the inside
How did you make them? Like, what are they made of?
They are giant papercrafts.
You can do your own, in my gallery in the finished model post, you can download all the papers you need for this.
Princess Luna is 4 feet 2 inches.
