They are the total opposite of each other, but they should come along ;-)
Finally Princess Luna is no longer alone.

Hehe, yeah, it is a lot of time invested.
Good thing is that I can use this technic for every 3d model I want.
I want to 3d scan my daughters in the near future, so I can do papercrafts of them,
it will be a great memory once they are older to see how the looked.

i noticed that (unless i missed somthing) you didn't use PU Foam in pinkie.

That is right, I did only use PU foam in Luna.

I use now "acrylic one" with glasfibres to harden connections,

but I think I did not do this in Pinkie yet...

I think I just used two additional inner layers of paper and glue for the parts I wanted to be harder, like the tail-body connection.

The problem is that I need like 250-300 hours for a model, no one can pay me this amount of work.
A artist who paints, can draw a picture for maybe 1-2 hours and get 20-30$ for it,
but if I would only say 3$ per hour, we would already be above 750$...
They stay here at home with me and my family as long I am not forced to sell them because we need space or money very desperate.

These are truly AMAZING! So for the papercraft, all you do is fold and put the pieces together via glue?

Well, I have to prepair the 3D model :iconkp-shadowsquirrel: made [link] in blender, then I can import it in pepakura and prepair it there.
Then printing, cutting, tracing the lines with a scalpel and glueing.

Funny that you ask about that,
I want to try black wool.
I will mix glue with the wool and get it in eyelashes shape, as soon it is hard, I want to try to glue them on the model.
another idea I have for future models, is to use black pipe cleaners, that get stuck in the head and are fixed on the inside ;-)

For Pinkie or Luna?
It depends on the paper you are using, I used very large paper 32x45 cm
Here I did a video on how to use pepakura and change to any size you want: [link]
